I’ve Finally Done It. I’m on LinkedIn
For years, I’ve actively avoided LinkedIn.
To be honest, I always thought it was a place for corporate types in shiny shoes to exchange buzzwords and "synergise" their "key-learnings." It all felt a bit... serious. As someone whose main office companion is a dog, it just never seemed like my kind of place.
I always figured that if you do good work and have a great website, people will find you. And for the most part, that's true. But I also write a lot of blog posts with what I hope is helpful, no-nonsense advice for other business owners. And it occurred to me that the best advice in the world is useless if it's not being seen by the people it can actually help.
So, I've decided to bite the bullet and embrace the platform. My goal isn't to become a networking guru or a LinkedIn 'influencer' (I don't even know what that is). It's much simpler.
I'm now on LinkedIn for one reason: it's another place for me to share my blog posts and hopefully, help a few more business owners navigate the often-confusing world of websites and marketing.
That’s the deal. You won't see posts about me "being humbled and honoured to announce..." anything. But you will get practical tips, honest advice, and links to my latest articles, all in a place you might already be scrolling through during your coffee break.
It's all part of my ongoing commitment to leveraging synergistic, paradigm-shifting methodologies to holistically empower your brand's core competencies and unlock a blue-sky, omnichannel value-add.
Or, you know, just some helpful advice.
